In my spring installation, Weedland, I bring the beauty of nature to life using over 50,000 handcrafted paper flowers, sourced directly from Oaxaca, Mexico, and more than 5,000 intricately designed paper butterflies. This immersive display captures the vibrant energy of spring, with each flower and butterfly meticulously crafted to create a magical, colorful landscape. Through Weedland, I aim to transport viewers to a whimsical world that celebrates the renewal and joy of the season, blending art and nature in a unique and captivating experience.
